Context

Hillside: a part of the hill between the top and the foot
(Synonyms: grade, gradient, acclivity, slope)

• Acclivity: an upward slope (synonyms: ascend, climb, raise, rise, upgrade)
• ⁠Gradient: change in the value of a quantity (temperature, pressure, concentration) with change in a given variable. Gradient is a measure of how steep/gentle a slope is.

• A gradient of 1:10 means that for every 10m of forward travel on the hill, the height changes about 1m.

• A GRADIENT REPRESENTS A RATE OF CHANGE.

A hill is an area of land that rises above the surrounding land and has a summit.

The Hillside

Many sense the change, shift and new thing being presented. Many await the words from the Lord on the move, saying Lord come and have your way.

One thing about our God He will answer and for those on the brink of eyes being opened, there is this promise, a view, a hillside shown of that very promise of our Heavenly Father doing the new thing. That it is in our midst, in view, and one excited to behold.

Many face the hillside and the interesting thing about a hillside is that there is no image of what was because how can you miss this view? How can you talk about what was, when God is unveiling the more – not only in your life but in the generations to come.

The hillside is a place to breathe in and taste the new thing, to behold our Maker and Creator on what He’s done. All the glory and the honour to the Son as we respond to this promise. We take in the journey, though hard, but excited because of Gods continuous reminder with the hillside.

Our hillside. A place to rest, but the journey continues until His very return. In the new thing, there is more to come from us, He asks us to take that very step into the new thing.

Some of us have spoken so much of the new thing that it’s time to activate that faith by taking the first step into it. Talking about something is different when you encounter and experience the fullness of it.

The narrow road continues. The journey continues but what a promise He has for those who call on His name and His name alone.

A change is coming and with each step in the faith into the new thing, there is no promise of it being hard. The road won’t always be easy: seasons of weariness, frustration, and distraction will come its way but the view has never changed. Seasons will come but the view has not.

The promise has not changed. The promise has not changed.

The hillside has an interesting view of mountains overlapping one another, there is more from Him and more that will be unveiled in us.

He has just started, the page has turned. May you ascend this hill and allow the rise and upgrade to take place.

He wants to take us higher.

May we ascend like Moses did to Mount Sinai and when we are sent to others they may witness a difference and upgrade within you and surrounding you. Amen.
